Judicial reforms employed digital case management enhancements to improve efficiency,
while institutional capacity-building initiatives equipped officials to combat trafficking, terrorism and
illicit arms trade. The Government also Implemented a NAP on Women, Peace and Security, integrating global best practices to address GBV and social cohesion. Public awareness campaigns and training sessions strengthened national and regional responses to trafficking in persons, enhancing victim protection and prosecution mechanisms. Child protection efforts expanded through case management improvements, mental health support and strengthened legal safeguards for migrant children. Meanwhile, initiatives to combat child labor will include policy development and youth engagement programs. These efforts collectively reinforced Trinidad and Tobago’s commitment to human rights, justice and security.
